Meet the Principal

"Over 25 years of HR experience."

Sandi Boller, MBA, SHRM-CP, is a Human Resources professional with over 25 years of HR experience. She spent her entire career at Mercantile Bank/US Bank, with the first 10 years spent on the banking side, before moving to Human Resources. She earned her college degrees from Lindenwood University while working full time, with an undergraduate business degree (BSBA), as well as a graduate business degree (MBA).

During her extensive Human Resources career, Sandi spent time in various HR roles, while working for a company that grew from 5,000 employees to over 70,000 employees through various acquisitions.

She managed the Management Development training program for several years, which included recruiting on college campuses, and coordinating an on-going year-long training program for 25 participants in each session. She also managed a training program for several affiliate banks across many states and conducted various training classes, including management, diversity and product training.

She managed the Affirmative Action program for the company, while conducting diversity training and working with managers to ensure compliance. For several years, she oversaw the acquisition process for Human Resources for over 10 different acquisitions, which included all HR functions, including HR communication, payroll, benefits, hiring and firing (position elimination/RIF), policy review, employee meetings, etc.

Sandi was also an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner in Employee Relations for several years, while being responsible for all HR functions for a department of over 1,000 employees. She worked with the management team on succession planning, team building, strategic planning, employee issues/concerns, and compensation issues. She also worked individually with employees on questions and concerns, and worked as an employee advocate to resolve issues.

"Managed Leave of Absence process for 70,000+ employees"

During her last several years in Human Resources, Sandi was Vice President – HR, in the Benefits department, and managed the Leave of Absence process for over 70,000 employees.

She was responsible for ensuring that any medical issues were properly managed by an outsourced vendor, as well as managing the compliance issues for all leaves, including disability, FMLA/state leave, ADA issues, and military leaves.

She also worked through individual issues related to specific problem situations (employees not returning to work or following procedures, as well as not providing required documentation), to ensure resolution with the best outcome from a legal/compliance standpoint.

After this long and rewarding career, Sandi decided to follow her dream of starting her own business.
